1.2 Kitling Legacy - A New Life
Jackson was very nervous as he knelt and offered Ulrike his heart. Should he have been more romantic? Flowers? Candles? He didn't have the money for any of that. Should he at least have gotten dressed? What if she said no. What if...
There was no need to worry. Ulrike said yes. The two were married quietly later that morning.
Summer Holiday still shows up from time to time. Jackson likes her as a person but wishes she'd stay away as she and Ulrike greatly dislike each other.
Things are going very well for Jackson. The house (or lot if you prefer) is coming along nicely. He seems to spend just as much or more time gardening than writing but that's okay for now. He'll work as hard as needed to give his legacy a firm foundation on which to build.
And a legacy they will soon have. Ulrike is expecting a baby. Jackson can't wait to meet his daughter. (or son but he definitely wants a daughter).
Ulrike couldn't stop smiling. Her family didn't have a lot of material things but they did have love. She was very proud of the man that was her husband.
She wouldn't mind, however, if he'd stop breaking the shower. She is an artist, not a repairman. Of course Jackson was quick to point out that there is a certain amount of artistry in both careers.
Ulrike: It won't be long and I'll be back to my before baby body.
Jackson: Don't you know I'll love you no matter what size you become?
Ulrike's creativity was interrupted one morning but sharp pains. It was baby time.
Ulrike gave birth to a daughter, Zhanna Kitling. Jackson could hardly wait for her to grow up, but didn't want to miss a minute of her life by having her do so.
With Zhanna's birth came the realization that more walls might be needed. He and Ulrike will need a little privacy after all.
Or not.
Zhanna soon grew into an Active little Social Butterfly.
She definitely has her daddy's chin.
1.1 Kitling Legacy - So it begins...again
When the sims first came out, this was one of the first sims I created. I know he's unique and some might call him unattractive but he will forever have a special place in my heart. This is Jackson Kitling. He originally had a different name and I once before tried to start a legacy with him. I've been under the weather lately, or as my doctor phrased it, I have The Crud. So I started a new legacy. Maybe I'll finish this one. It could happen.
Jackson Kitling is Creative, Jealous and Loves the Outdoors. He wants to be an author (although the correct wording escapes me this moment).
Jackson is doing the Extreme Legacy Start meaning he is on the largest lot in Windenburg. He is starting in the hole so he must earn some money to buy his Knight for the family inventory.
For our legacy we are doing Strict Equality (the heirs must rotate in gender each generation), Strict Bloodline (must be able to trace your bloodline back to the founder), First Born Heir (the oldest eligible child becomes heir), Tolerant Species Law (aliens are allowed to be heirs) and just to make things interesting, the Exemplar Trait of Creative (all heirs must have rolled the creative trait). You don't loose for not having the creative trait. We will just carry it as far as we can which may not be far. If no one is creative in a generation, the eldest otherwise eligible child becomes heir. Traits are rolled on each birthday and not all at once so you won't know who will be the heir until they all start becoming young adults. This could be interesting.
Jackson had just moved into his empty lot and started a bit of fishing when he heard someone call out to him.
He was being summoned by some of the local eligible ladies who had apparently already learned that a young marriageable man had moved in.
Of all the ladies, Jackson was drawn to one. Her name is Ulrike Faust. She was lovely and creative. A very powerful combination.
When the other ladies headed for home, Jackson and Ulrike spent some time lying in the road and staring at the stars.
When Ulrike excused herself to head home, Jackson headed to Willow Creek's library to do a bit of writing.
He later headed next door where he gorged on chips and introduced himself to one and all.
If you think showing up in the same dress is embarrassing....
Jackson spent his first night sleeping on the couch at the gym. It's not a perfect life but it's a start.
The next morning Jackson had a wonderful breakfast made by Bob Pancake. He spent more time introducing himself around town. He spent a part of the afternoon looking at the clouds with Summer Holiday.
Jackson invited Summer over one night. Maybe she was turned off by his living arrangements. Maybe they were just destined not to be together. For whatever reason, this night their relationship was moved firmly into the friend zone.
You see, Ulrike called Jackson up that very same night and invited him to a party at the Bluffs. Jackson arrived and was suddenly very embarrassed about his unkempt appearance but he didn't let that stop him.
That very same night, Jackson spoke from his heart and invited Ulrike to share his life forever. She agreed and moved in. She didn't have any money to contribute the their new life but that was okay. Jackson wasn't alone anymore.
It turns out that Ulrike is a Creative, Art Loving Perfectionist who wants to be a Painter. It was just meant to be. Jackson was sure of it.
They celebrated their newfound love under the stars.
And thus begins our legacy.

1.3 Holiday 100 Baby Challenge
We are starting with birthdays this time. First up is Baltimore. Baltimore has an A in school and has maxed both his mental and creative skills.
Baltimore Holiday (son of Mortimer Goth) is a Party Animal. His is An insider, clumsy and gregarious.
Then it was time to celebrate his twin brother Boston's birthday. Boston had an A in school. He maxed out creativity.
Boston Holiday (son of Mortimer Goth) is a Freelance Botanist. He is a perfectionist, materialistic and a collector.
Now it's time for more skilling and homework. Bunny has managed to max her painting skill and has begun painting some masterpieces. The moving fund it getting bigger.
The family has also been working on a garden. Lots of blackberries. Bunny is working towards splicing dragon fruit. Soon I hope.
Bunny heads back to the park (her favorite pickup spot) and starts looking for a new baby daddy. We are really just using victims of opportunity. I am going for original townies over game generated but we'll take what we can get.
Bunny reals in the another one but forgets to take his picture.
Bunny: What do you want from me woman? I'm getting you babies. You should remind me about the rest.
Our next baby daddy is the elder Geoffrey Landgraab. He is outgoing, family-oriented and good.
Bunny begins mentoring her kids on painting.
Bunny: We've got to get some of these kids out of the house.
Time for even more birthdays. Cheyenne had an A in school and maxed her creativity.
This new hair really helps her. She looks freaky in shoots but not as bad in game. She definitely looks like her daddy.
Cheyenne Holiday is an Angling Ace. She is insane, a goofball and a collector.
The next birthday is Austin. Austin has an A in school and has maxed his painting skill. I have dropped the max two skills. I think one is enough. I could do it but the full house is getting on my nerves.
Austin Holiday is our first young adult. He is a serial romantic, alluring, neat, childish & ambitious. He moved out during the move.
Also to have a birthday is Destin. Destin is cheerful.
This is the point where I moved the family. Austin moved out on his own but was later merged in with his father Gunther who was living in a big house all alone. I could have sworn I took house pictures but I can't find them. I tried three different houses before I settled on one. It was unfurnished but had plenty of bedrooms. It's not perfect but I like it. I'll get pics later.
The new house had a fenced in back yard but I deleted the fence. We put in our plants. The house came with a pool. The kids like to do their homework outside by the pool. We are doing a push to get as many out of the house as possible.
We've set up a painting nook. Austin has moved out of the house but he is still a member of the family club. He stops by and paints masterpieces for us. Such a sweet child.
Finally Aspen is ready to age up. She had an A in school and maxed her painting skill.
Aspen Holiday is an Angling Ace. She is a collector, art lover, music lover and hates children. She moved in with her father and twin brother.
Skilling continues with all the kids. Still more teens to get out.
The next to age up to young adult is Baltimore. He had an A in school and maxed the logic skill.
Baltimore Holiday is a Party Animal. He is Gregarious, insider, clumsy and insane. He moved out alone and is currently not in a house.
Boston soon followed his brother in aging up. Boston had an A in school and maxed the piano skill.
Boston is a Freelance Botanist. He is a collector, perfectionist, materialistic and an art lover. He moved out alone and is currently not living in world.
Our first four babies have flown the coop. The memorial is in the bathroom, which is strange, but it was the easiest place to put it at the time. The move is still a work in progress.
Also of note, Austin was abducted at our house while visiting for a club meeting. No idea if anything came of this. Not that I know of but we'll see.
And that is three weeks at the 100 Baby House.
